Hi, I’m Thaddeus (aka Marionette / Misery online) — a non-binary indie developer working in Unreal Engine 5 since its release in 2022. I specialize in building immersive systems and gameplay experiences through Blueprint scripting, with a focus on multiplayer, combat design, and player-driven worlds.
My development style is a mix of dynamic problem-solving, late-night creativity, and lots of iteration. I don’t come from a formal background — I’ve learned through experimentation, countless all-nighters, and plenty of caffeine (plus the occasional nudge from my three mischievous cats).
I aim to create games that feel alive: cozy on the surface, yet layered with challenge, mystery, and discovery. A little witchy, a little unconventional, always thoughtful.

A life sim with a twist. At first glance it’s cozy: daily routines, friendships, and quiet living. But underneath, subtle strangeness and choices ripple through the world — shifting what everyday life means.
Town full of characters with personality and evolving stories
Cozy systems (crafting, farming, relationships) that don’t overwhelm
A layer of mystery and consequence hidden beneath the routine
